Ralph Rucci: A Designer and His House

Written and directed by David Boatman, this feature documentary chronicles the evolution of Ralph Rucci's spring 2008 ready-to-wear and fall 2008 haute couture collections, from inspiration to a spectacular act of runway showmanship at the Palais de Tokyo in Paris, France. 

The documentary uncovers the inspiring path of an American designer and his painstaking quest to create his own reality in a global market. The film premiered at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City and was acquired by Sundance Channel.

Fashion Independent: The Original Style of Ann Bonfoey Taylor

Commissioned by the Phoenix Art Museum, this biographical film directed by David Boatman profiles the extraordinary life of Ann Bonfoey Taylor. An outstanding collector of haute couture, Ann’s iconic style always left a lasting impression. While Ann had an unsurpassed flair for style and clothing, her lasting gifts resided in the strength of character that defined her life.

Vince Camuto Spring/Summer Campaign

Directed by David Boatman and filmed on location in Florida, Boatman Media partnered with Camuto Group to create the Vince Camuto spring/summer brand campaign. Young love was the theme, and where better to find it than on sunny Longboat Key with models Georgia Fowler and Paolo Anchisi. Original score by Seth Rothschild.

Vince Camuto Holiday Campaign

Directed by David Boatman and filmed on New York City’s Lower East Side, Boatman Media partnered with Camuto Group and Universal Pictures to create the Vince Camuto holiday brand campaign inspired by the film, “Pitch Perfect 3”. Model, Georgia Fowler, and her sextet take the stage at a downtown nightclub to perform an a capella holiday rendition of HAIM’S “Want You Back.” Original score recreation by Seth Rothschild.
